Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It is also known as the Pink City. From the ancient time, the city is very famous for its heritage, culture, tradition and history. It is a very popular tourist spot for magnificent forts, beautiful havelis and colorful bazaars. Its ancient palaces and forts attract travelers throughout the year.

Last year our family went to Jaipur for a short tour. We started our journey from Kolkata by train. From the Sealdah station, we caught Ajmir Express at 11.20pm and reached in Jaipur at around 2.00am on the next day. It was a 26.40hour journey. The train was 2.10hours late. We waited in the station at the Jaipur station for that night. Next morning we reached the hotel Jai Mahal by taxi. After taking rest for an hour, I went to the market and booked a taxi. The taxi driver introduced me with an experienced guide. We took rest on that day. Next morning along with our guide, we left the hotel for our first day travel at around 8.00am.
