Finally, my two days Delhi and
Agra trip come to an end. I am very happy and relaxed after this trip. It was a
sudden plan, but the best plan for me. It is a much needed break for me and for
my family. No it’s not weird to plan the trip for just two days. If you have
less time in your hand, then this trip is highly recommended. Check out the
pointers on how to plan your Delhi Agra trip.
Love you loads!!
- For Delhi, we board Duronto
Express from Kolkata and Rajdhani Express for Return. From Delhi to Agra, we
had 2 hours journey in Satabdi Express and Return.
- We stayed in Delhi Banga Bhawan (Highly
Recommended under reference), Food included.
- Things to Do in One Day: Visit,
Red Fort, Chandi Chowk market, Connaught Place, Jama Masjid, Jantar Mantar,
Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Shopping at Janpath market,
Palika Bazaar and Rajghat (If you have time in hand)
- One Day in Agra: Visit Taj Mahal,
Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort. Peeta, the sweet delicacy of Agra is a must buy
if you have sweet tooth. Shopping near Taj Mahal and Return the same day.
- Pack your bags: light dresses,
jeans, T-shirts, Sunscreen is must, umbrella (if needed), sunglasses and scarfs
and SLR camera.
- Best time to visit: You can visit Delhi and Agra all through the year. But, the best time is from September to November. It is the time when you have light summer and less cold.
