Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka. Most of the IT companies concentrate their businesses here for its geographical features. It is also known as the ‘Garden City’ of India. It has plenty of gardens, natural features, museums, temples and palaces for which it attracts the mind of the Indians as well as foreigners. It is also famous for the center of Indian classical music and dance and culture.



Last month I with my family went to Bangalore for a short trip. One month ago, we booked a two star hotel through online from Kolkata. We took Duronto Express from Howrah and reached in Yesvantpur Jn. After a long 30 hour journey, from there we took a taxi and reached the hotel. We took rest on that day. Next day we graphed our program and we spent 5 days for our tour.

The city is located on the Deccan Plateau in the southeastern part of Karnataka. It is India’s third most populous city. Bangalore India is amongst the top 10 preferred business locations in the world. It is a growing metropolitan city in India. It is the home of many well recognized educational and research institutions in India.
Weather in Bangalore
The Bangalore weather is very pleasant throughout the year. Summer is very charming and it offers a mild warm climate with a maximum temperature of 36°C. Monsoon is a windy season with mild to heavy rains. Winter is the coolest season with temperatures near to 10°C. It is the best season for sightseeing and wandering off around the city.
Attractions in Bangalore
From a Guide book we came to know main Bangalore attractions are Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Fort, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Palace, Mayo Hall, Vidhana Soudha, Government Museum, Kempegowda Museum, Gandhi Bhavan , HAL Aerospace Museum, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, NIMHANS Brain Museum, Legends Motorcycle Museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery, National Gallery of Modern Art etc. On the first & second day, we visited all these places with our guide and he gave usdetailedl descriptions of these places. Our guide was very kind and cooperative. He gave answers to all of our questions. Therefore, we enjoy our tour with full heart.
Sightseeing in Bangalore 
Throughout the year, many Indians like us as well as many foreigners come here to grab the beauty. Bangalore sightseeing is the special attractions for the tourists. The most important sightseeing here is Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bull Temple, Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, Tipu’s Palace, Vidhana Soudha (Outside view), Visvesvaraya Technological Museum, Badami House, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Palace, Attara Kacheri etc. KSTDC operates sightseeing tour round the city at cheap rate. The fare is very reasonable for all tourists. With the help of KSTDC, we watched all these places and enjoy with full heart on the third day.

Bangalore has also many tourist spots, which always attract Indian tourists or foreign tourists. Therefore, to enjoy the city Bangalore city tour is very important. We also arranged a city trip to discover it. The city is famous for its beautiful parks, avenues, and impressive buildings. City’s most attractions are parks, lakes, historical mountains, wildlife, Government buildings, museums, amusement parks, places of worships, IT parks, shopping complex, etc. On the fourth day, we arranged our city tour.
Day trip to Bangalore
We also arranged a day trip on the fifth day to know why Bangalore has become a Garden City in India. Bangalore day trips spots are Innovative Film City, Yelagiri Hills, Shivaganga Temple, Sholay hills, Venugopala Swamy Temple, Big Banyan Tree Manchanabele, Rangasthala Temple, Kanva Reservoir, ChikkaTirupati, Wonderla Amusement Park, Bannerghatta Wildlife, Shivanasamudram Waterfall, Melkote Pilgrim Famous Chelluva Narayana temple etc.

  1. Hey Anwei.. you are so right. Blore is not just about an IT hub. I was in Bangalore for about more than a year and I loved every bit of it. especially the zoo and its gardens.
